Sr. Healthcare Credit Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities
Monitor existing loan relationships to evaluate credit risk and to assess compliance with credit policy
Review current account status, to include but not limited to, Past Due accounts and Notes Matured and make appropriate recommendations for these accounts
Monitor portfolio loan exposure including review of monthly maturity reports and monthly past due reports. Reports deteriorating credit situations in a timely manner
Evaluate risk rating and make recommendations for risk grade changes
Help resolve credit problems, delinquent payment issues, and other related affairs
Responsible for reporting on the overall portfolio, including and not limited to assessing asset quality, stress testing (rate, occupancy, cash flow, etc.), industry and market analysis
Prepare renewals and annual reviews for overall asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations
Request action and follow up with Commercial Relationship Managers regarding exceptions, maturities, past due loans, business pipeline, loan reviews, etc
Prepare renewals and annual reviews for overall asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations which includes:
Preparation of Financial Spreadsheets
Global cash flow analysis
Written analysis of loan requests for the purpose of determining likelihood of unimpeded repayment and assessing credit risk
Covenant Testing
Risk grade recommendation
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, SAR, CTR, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, EEO, and fair employment practices
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Business, Finance, or Accounting strongly preferred
Minimum of seven years' experience in analyzing business financial statements, corporate tax forms, and partnership tax returns or equivalent academic study
Minimum of seven years' experience in analyzing personal financial statements and personal tax returns or equivalent academic study
Must possess highly advanced credit analysis skills (prefer a candidate with formal credit training)
Minimum of seven years' experience participating in commercial lending or credit activities, with a specific focus on healthcare lending preferred
Advanced knowledge in commercial loan products, terminology and regulatory requirements, as well as documentation required by bank policy and state and federal regulators
High level of organization and time management
Ability to effectively identify problems & recommend appropriate solutions
Effective and professional written and verbal communications
Ability to effectively use personal computers and various applications including Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK and ancillary Primis Bank systems and underwriting platforms
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment
Exemplary analytical skills including the ability to read and assess individual and company financial statements, cash flow, industry and competitive analysis and projections
Demonstrated understanding of credit scoring and risk management concepts
Possess a strong understanding of the bank's credit and soft credit products and Credit Policy
