Responsibilities

Assist with planning, execution, and reporting of compliance and operational audits and special projects
Support evaluations and testing of internal controls to ensure effectiveness and alignment with departmental and professional standards
Participate in audit reviews from the planning stage through findings discussions and preparation of reports for management
Help prepare and maintain audit documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to audit methodology
Contribute to the evaluation of audit results by reviewing relevancy, accuracy, and conclusions
Collaborate with the internal audit team to identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
Gain exposure to all areas of the company by assisting with audits across multiple divisions
Interact with managers and supervisors to support discussions on audit findings and recommendations
Provide assistance to external auditors as directed by the Internal Audit Department

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Currently in Junior or Senior year of undergraduate degree path
Local to Northeast Indiana, with the ability to work part-time throughout the school year
Maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
