Embedded Technical Recruiter

The Embedded Technical Recruiter will act as an embedded consultant focusing on AI/ML Engineering or Strategic Sales roles, managing high-volume requisition loads and leveraging market intelligence to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
Niche Placement Velocity: Manage a challenging requisition load focused exclusively on either AI/ML Engineering or complex Sales roles, applying the velocity and closing focus of a staffing professional
Targeted Sourcing: Apply proven agency sourcing and networking techniques to build pipelines of candidates who have successfully built or sold products in high-growth, technically complex environments
Technical Acumen: Rapidly establish credibility with Founders, CTOs, and VPs of Sales by demonstrating a strong understanding of the specialized roles you recruit (e.g., understanding the difference between a Data Scientist and an ML Engineer, or a BDR and an Enterprise AE)
Client & Strategy Partner: Advise hiring managers on market viability, highly competitive compensation for niche roles (including equity), and strategic closing techniques
Time Management & Billing: Diligently track time spent on various client mandates for accurate hourly billing and transparent reporting to Recruits Lab
Qualification
Required
3+ years of agency or staffing experience, with a primary focus on one of the following two verticals: AI/ML, Data Science, or Software Engineering
3+ years of agency or staffing experience, with a primary focus on one of the following two verticals: Enterprise SaaS Sales, Commercial Life Sciences Sales, or Business Development
Mandatory experience placing talent specifically within high-growth organizations, particularly those that are venture-backed or operating at startup speed
A verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding placement quotas/targets
Exceptional market intelligence and superior negotiation skills
Highly proficient in advanced sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized platforms) and comfortable using time tracking/reporting software
