Empowerment Case Specialist
NEOGOV is seeking an Empowerment Case Specialist for the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Division of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Branch. The role involves case management for participants in the Juvenile Empowerment Court Program, including psychosocial assessments, service coordination, and maintaining compliance with treatment plans.

Responsibilities
Schedules weekly visits with program participants as dictated by their phase or need in the program. Coordinates collateral resources to ensure participants’ receipt of and participation in treatment
Coordinates and monitors participants’ phases of treatment and compliance with the Juvenile Empowerment Court program rules. This includes comprehensive case planning and goal setting as well as evidence-based interventions for youth who have experienced human trafficking and victimization
Acts as liaison between the Court, community resources and treatment providers. Attends court hearings as needed
Enters case notes into the JJIS and SharePoint database that reflect each contact with participants
Notifies parties on relevant issues pertaining to the client, e.g., new use, dangerous behaviors, change in living situation, domestic violence, new criminal charges, lapses in their recovery
Conducts supervisory visits in participants’ homes and also monitors progress by phone Contacts collateral sources for each participant including mental health providers, Children Services, substance treatment facilities, and other providers. Travel to see clients at school, home, treatment and/or intervention center, or community
Conducts frequent, observed, and random urine screens on empowerment court participants
Ensures that all required paperwork is completed, signed, filed, and maintained in individual files confidentially
Prepares detailed status reports for each participant and submits to Court
Assists in receiving and processing referrals for Empowerment Court
Attends trainings required by the Court and other trainings around JDAI and Specialized Dockets
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in social work or other relevant field
One to three years' experience working in substance use disorder field and extensive knowledge regarding juvenile human trafficking and trauma informed care – LSW or LCDC III, or equivalent credentials strongly preferred but not required
Must be able to deal with high stress environment
Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Court experience and knowledge of court procedures and policies preferred
