Responsibilities
Lead and support periodic valuation processes for structured products, including RMBS, CMBS, whole loans, MSRs, and securitized assets
Use Intex to analyze deal structures, cash flows, triggers, and collateral performance, supporting valuation and risk analysis
Review and challenge third-party pricing and model outputs; investigate variances and document assumptions and methodologies
Partner with investment, finance, and accounting teams to ensure valuations align with GAAP and internal governance standards
Monitor portfolio exposures to credit, prepayment, interest rate, and liquidity risk across structured products
Support scenario analysis, stress testing, and hedging performance assessment related to rate shocks, spread movements, and housing market scenarios
Contribute to executive and board-level reporting on valuation, portfolio risk, and key risk indicators
Improve data integrity, automation, and reporting processes across valuation and risk workflows
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in valuation, risk analytics, or portfolio analytics within structured products or fixed income
Strong hands-on experience with Intex is required, particularly for cash flow modeling and structured deal analysis
Deep understanding of mortgage-backed securities and structured products
Experience with Bloomberg; familiarity with interest rate derivatives, liquidity concepts, and portfolio risk metrics
Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with large datasets
Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear executive and board-level presentations
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a high-accountability environment
