Highspring is engaged with a trusted Private Equity client in search of an Interim Chief Financial Officer for their $50M+ Services business. This hands-on role involves overseeing all financial operations, integrating acquisitions, and leading the transition to a new ERP system.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic financial planning, including the development of multi-year forecasts and capital allocation strategies to support continued expansion

Oversee the financial integration of acquired entities, including harmonizing charts of accounts, standardizing accounting policies, and realizing identified synergies

Implement and manage advanced project accounting workflows, ensuring accurate revenue recognition via the percentage-of-completion method for long-term service contracts

Lead the evaluation and migration from QuickBooks to a mid-market ERP (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) to improve reporting depth and operational efficiency

Manage working capital and provide 13-week cash flow forecasting, ensuring the business maintains sufficient liquidity across all subsidiaries

Conduct financial due diligence for future acquisitions, evaluating target company health, quality of earnings, and potential liabilities

Establish and enforce robust internal controls across all business units to ensure GAAP compliance and readiness for external audits

Develop comprehensive monthly reporting packages and dashboards that track key service-based KPIs (e.g., utilization, billable rates, project margin)

Required

Proven experience in buy-side due diligence and post-merger financial integration

Prior experience leading a successful migration from QuickBooks to a mid-market ERP system
