Scott Credit Union is hiring a Consumer Loan Direct Processor in Edwardsville, IL to support our lending operations and deliver exceptional member service. The role involves managing loan files from application to funding with accuracy and efficiency while educating members on consumer lending products.

Responsibilities

Provides direct support for both online/mobile, telephone, and Branch Network loan applications

Process lending transactions for members including such functions as processing loan documents, assisting with opening of loan and banking accounts, issuing checks, and process title loan title work, if applicable

Provides members services by contacting members with updates on pending loan applications from time of approval, through loan closing, after funding, and until title has been perfected, if applicable

Responsible for the review of loan supporting documents to ensure accuracy, and completion, of documents before proceeding with the loan closing

Responsible for following up on collateralized titles to ensure that SCU lien is placed properly and within specific lending guideline timeframes
