New Jersey Golf is a non-profit organization dedicated to the service of golf. The Coordinator, Communications & Marketing plays a key role in advancing NJ Golf’s mission by supporting and executing comprehensive communications and marketing initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in developing, creating, deploying and reporting of communications and marketing assets across all NJ Golf departments, to support and promote:
Membership Development initiatives
Championship and event promotion and coverage
Foundation programming and initiatives
Relationships with NJ Golf partners, advertisers, and allied associations
Educational and development projects
Other tasks as assigned
In collaboration with the Manager, Digital Media & Marketing, maintain and manage the organization’s email database within HubSpot, ensuring accurate contact records, proper segmentation, data hygiene, and ongoing organization to support effective email communications and campaigns
Produce website news articles, press releases, marketing emails for social media and website
Travel to Championships to capture and produce both visual and written content
Management of social media & media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube)
Assist with branding, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, print literature, website, social media and multimedia activities of the organization
Assist with NJ Golf Magazine production both print and digital versions
Ideate and execute ways to successfully grow the presence of NJ Golf throughout New Jersey

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
Knowledge of and passion for the game of golf
Ability to work and think creatively in a team environment
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Superior verbal and interpersonal skills
Must be an exceptional writer
Must be organized, detailed and possess good project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as specific platforms (Canva, HubSpot, Flipsnack)
Ability to manage working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Experience with implementing an editorial plan, a social media strategy and effective presentations
Understanding of Communications and Marketing KPI's and relevant metrics as they apply to print and digital platforms, including web site usage, email, and social media
Assist with HubSpot integration, develop and maintain HubSpot assets
Regularly monitor integrity of data and work to ensure accuracy of data
Valid driver's license and means of reliable transportation
Ability to lift and move approximately 50 lbs
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a high-functioning team and to work cooperatively and effectively with team members
Superior organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner
Ability to manage multiple projects, delegate duties, and work independently or with a committee
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including minimal nights and weekends as required
Demonstrate high energy level and flexibility, pleasant persona coupled with sound judgment
