Responsibilities
Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance in order to perform assigned tasks. Locations may vary as needed
Housekeeping of facilities and grounds, sweeps, mop, scrub, polish, vacuum
Prepare surface and paint, interior and exterior
Operates motorized equipment, pickup truck w/ snowplow, utility terrain vehicles, skid loader, lawn mower, snow blower, weed trimer and other outdoor grounds upkeep equipment
Change out light bulbs as needed
Minor plumbing duties, clogged sinks, lavatories
Lifting and moving heavy furniture and equipment
Performs inventory and compliance audits
Performs site survey of county owned properties
Travel to pick up and drop off parts
Perform minor vehicle and equipment maintenance, changing oil, filters, washing/cleaning
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Must have a valid Iowa Driver's License and be insurable under the county's guidelines
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Understand and follow written and oral instructions
Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance in order to perform assigned tasks
