This individual will assist with the vendor selection process and act as a strategic advisor throughout the accounting system replacement initiative, leveraging their expertise in accounting software implementations.

Responsibilities

Proven experience working on accounting software implementation projects
Exposure to multiple implementations of different accounting software like Lawson, SAP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, etc
Ability to evaluate current state, understand potential challenges, and advise on best practices
Strong communication skills with the ability to gather requirements and take ownership of projects
Experience collaborating with third-party vendors
Assist with the vendor selection process and act as a strategic advisor throughout the accounting system replacement initiative
Assessing the current state, documenting future requirements, and using expertise in accounting software implementations to assist with vendor selection
Managing the process alongside stakeholders in IT and accounting
Meeting with vendors, evaluating proposals, and advising on critical requirements, potential risks, and overlooked considerations
Leveraging prior implementation experience to anticipate challenges, recommend solutions, and provide leadership that keeps the project on track
Working independently, taking ownership of the process, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the new system
