Aegis Sr Manager, Program Management

Responsibilities

Developing customer relationships with multiple Navy organizations and partners
Management of the transition to production and startup of new designs
Management of quick-turn, emerging Navy Fleet support requirements
Provide leadership to multi-functional teams and key partners to ensure successful execution of the Technology Insertion contracts
Meet company financials and programmatic objectives including EAC and AOP
Ensure success by oversight of the Risk Management process and other IPDS tools
Preparation and presentation at weekly, biweekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with NSS and Naval Power Leadership as well as the Navy Customer
Contract proposal development and negotiations
Management of internal subcontracts
Travel as needed, up to approximately 25%

Required

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience
Prior program/project management experience
Prior experience with Cost and Schedule management
Level 5 PM Certification or possess industry related PM certifications (or similar certification)
Prior experience working cross functional (ex: Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
Prior experience working with DoD customers (Naval)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Secret - Current

Preferred

Master's degree in engineering, Science or Mathematics
Experience in the contracting process including proposal preparation & negotiations, leadership briefings, and Risk/Opportunity Management
Experience with transition to production of new design, first time build, and tech insertions
Experience managing multiple contracts
Earned Value Management experience
