Responsibilities
Defend single-plaintiff and class/collective actions involving discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, wage-hour, and restrictive covenant claims
Draft and argue dispositive motions in SDNY, EDNY, and New York Supreme courts
Take and defend high-level executive and expert depositions nationwide
Lead strategy on EEOC/NYSDHR position statements, mediations, and arbitrations
Second-chair or first-chair bench and jury trials in complex employment disputes
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New York
2+ years of experience in employment litigation
Strong understanding of employment law and litigation processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven track record of successfully managing cases from inception to resolution
Experience with depositions, mediations, and trials
