Responsibilities
Driving the strategic and tactical decisions in terms of the procurement of materials, supplies, and services essential to the operation of the company
Working closely with the supply base to optimize sourcing strategies and maintain/strengthen relationships with key stakeholders
Contributing to the Supply Chain strategy in concert with the overarching corporate strategy and business unit initiatives
Ensuring support for, and fulfillment of, our Corporate Strategy in a manner consistent with our Statement of Values and Purpose
Providing consultation and linkages to enterprise-wide strategic plans
Qualification
Required
BS degree
Leadership over all procurement activities for a food or beverage company with experience in commodities, packaging, ingredients, and indirect spends
Ability and desire to function as an officer of the company and the overall strategic plans for the company
Servant leadership style with a coaching and mentoring approach
Must have strong experience developing people, process, and systems in procurement and supply chain
SAP experience or similar enterprise planning software experiences
