Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using the Karate framework

Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases and automation scripts

Execute API tests to validate functionality, performance, security, and compliance requirements

Develop and execute end-to-end automation test suites to ensure high-quality releases

Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproducible steps and work closely with the development team for resolution

Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing

Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency

Participate in requirement review, test planning, and review meetings to ensure quality standards

Keep updated with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and automation practices, especially within the banking/financial services sector
