Responsibilities
Assess current-state data models, schemas, and integrations
Design enterprise canonical data models and standardized schemas
Build and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines and API-driven integrations
Integrate spatial/GIS and engineering datasets
Implement data governance, metadata, lineage, and quality controls
Ensure compatibility with cloud architecture (Azure/Snowflake)
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance
Qualification
Required
7+ years as a Data Architect or Senior Data Analyst
10+ years working with enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
Strong experience with data modelling, ETL, data warehousing, and governance
Hands-on experience with Azure, Snowflake, Informatica, PostgreSQL
Financial systems and enterprise reporting experience
Strong SQL and data integration expertise
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Equivalent experience may substitute)
Preferred
Experience with DB2
Familiarity with FDOT systems, Florida PALM, or similar state systems
Experience with Power BI / Tableau
Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
