Mid, Senior LevelMerit Consulting Group Inc is seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant with strong Order to Cash (O2C) expertise to support implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financials modules. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable financial solutions, ensuring seamless integration across billing, receivables, and revenue processes.

Responsibilities
Lead or support end-to-end Workday Financials Order to Cash (O2C) implementations
Configure and maintain Customer Accounts, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, and Collections
Design and optimize billing schedules, invoices, customer contracts, and revenue rules
Support cash application, aging, dunning, and customer credit management processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
Act as a subject matter expert for O2C processes and best practices
Conduct design workshops, system demos, and user training sessions
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams
Develop and execute unit, system, and UAT test scenarios
Support data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities
Assist with go-live support and post-production issue resolution
Work with integration teams on upstream/downstream systems (CRM, banking, tax, etc.)
Support Workday Financials reports, dashboards, and audits related to O2C
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financials – Order to Cash (O2C)
Experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Management, and customer lifecycle
At least one full-cycle Workday Financials implementation
Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
