Responsibilities

Serve as greeter for walk-ins or scheduled face-to-face or telehealth appointments

Verify, review, and update demographic and insurance information in the agency electronic health record

General knowledge of all insurance benefits and coverage, as well as Patient Verification Systems - Evolv NX, MyAbility, Navinet, NJMMIS is a plus

Verify insurance benefits and eligibility

Upload benefits in the agency Electronic Health Record

Collect payment at the time of service and/or collect past balances from the client, virtually or in-person

Answer the telephone and provide routine information. Assist clients (over the phone and in-person) by communicating in a positive, friendly and professional manner

Schedule appointments, conduct appointment confirmations/reminders

Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
