Responsibilities
Take day-to-day carriage of asbestos/talc files: discovery, depositions, hearings, motion practice, and pushing cases forward under LA/SF case-management orders
Draft/argue dispositive and discovery motions; manage experts and prepare for settlement conferences
Collaborate directly with partners on strategy; support occasional non-asbestos defense matters as the firm expands
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of California civil litigation (asbestos/talc or toxic tort/silica experience strongly preferred)
Product liability background valued over traditional auto PI
Comfort running a case 'soup-to-nuts': discovery calendars, meet-and-confers, depos, law & motion, court appearances
CA Bar in good standing
Strong judgment, initiative, and a collaborative, low-ego style
