They are seeking a Maintenance Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026 to work in their Mount Olive food manufacturing plant, where the intern will focus on daily plant operations and contribute to process improvements.

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Technology (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial), Maintenance Management or Facilities Management or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2026 through June 2027

Have a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work

Open to relocating to Mount Olive, North Carolina if not in the area

Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity

Demonstrated involvement on-campus

Must be able to complete a post-offer physical examination successfully in accordance with position functional capacity requirements

Will be required to work in elevated areas above 4 feet

Must be able to climb ladder and wear fall protection as necessary
