Amrize is seeking an Electrical Technician to help ensure the uninterrupted operation of their plant and quarry. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, mobile, and electrical equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical, mobile, quarry, and electrical equipment

Stay current on maintenance and safety procedures, contributing to the development of new procedures as needed

Prepare and contribute to daily reports, special project reports, and record work orders and equipment history in computerized systems

Report maintenance issues and participate in corrective actions when appropriate

Maintain safe and efficient operations through proper housekeeping

Assist with issuing and locating stores materials, completing and following up on work orders

Perform preventive inspections and document findings as required

Identify and resolve safety or environmental concerns

Explore and apply new tools, techniques, and technologies to improve skills and promote continuous improvement

Follow all Amrize and MSHA safety procedures and actively participate in health and safety committees and initiatives (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, Job Safety Analyses)
