The Distribution/Raw Receiving Team Lead will assist the supervisor in managing daily operations, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Retrieve product from storage areas based on customer/production orders using a scanner and assist the supervisor in guiding and directing team members to meet departmental and company goals

Organize, stage, and maintain materials, supplies, and inventory in Raw Receiving and Distribution areas

Provide hands-on support in any area of Raw Receiving or Distribution as needed to ensure smooth operations

Train, mentor, and onboard new team members, ensuring understanding of safety, quality, and productivity standards

Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and escalate issues to the supervisor or manager as necessary

Support the supervisor with planning daily workflows, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient use of resources

Enforce and promote compliance with safety, food safety, and company policies and procedures

Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise

Perform additional duties or special projects as delegated by the supervisor or manager

Must cross train in other areas
