Responsibilities

Assist the Cash Application function within the Credit Department

Help research unclear customer payment remittances. Resolution may include contacting internal and external customers for clarification

Apply the payments in our system

Prepare and mail monthly statements to customers

Assist customers in reconciling accounts

Help customers with various payment methods, set-up, which includes a third-party electronic payment portal

Apply payments to customer accounts via remittance information from multiple sources

Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers

Contact customers by telephone and e-mail to discuss the reasons for uneven payments. Record data in system and forward to appropriate people for resolution

Perform various administrative functions for accounts, which may include recording contact changes for a customer

Provide requested information to customers such as invoice copies and check application detail

Assist customers in reconciling accounts

Help customers with various payment methods, set-up, which includes a third-party electronic payment portal
