Responsibilities
Provide health & safety expertise to site leadership and supervisors
Support the development and execution of site and regional safety strategies
Assist with risk assessments, audits, and safety improvement initiatives
Coach managers and supervisors on incident investigations and corrective actions
Support regulatory compliance activities and inspections (e.g., MSHA, OSHA)
Deliver safety training on safety-sensitive topics and operational procedures
Develop and maintain training materials and documentation using Microsoft tools
Support exposure monitoring programs (noise, dust, vibration, chemical agents)
Collaborate with HR and leadership on workplace ergonomics and working conditions
Promote a proactive, positive safety culture across the site
Perform additional duties as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety support or H&S role
Working knowledge of occupational safety regulations
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Associate's degree in Industrial Safety or related field
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or construction environments
Familiarity with SAP or similar systems
Knowledge of transportation or fleet safety regulations
