In this role, you will work closely with our internal medicine providers to support patient care and ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients

Documents a thorough medical history from patient

Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered

Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed

Counseling patients and family members, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans

The LPN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting

In departments where applicable, responsibilities may include patient scheduling, insurance and guarantor validation, and verification of demographic information

Additional tasks may involve coordinating provider schedules across multiple locations and managing daily scheduling adjustments

Must have graduated from a school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
