People Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
Assist New Hires through the onboarding process
Maintain compliance of background checks and state agency checks
Utilize your skills to deliver high-quality HR services to approximately 350 employees at all of our GA locations
Work in a collaborative environment with supportive leadership, while having an opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization

Perform tasks to support the effective and efficient delivery of HR services including but not limited to; data management, benefit administration, electronic file maintenance, compliance, leave and workers' compensation management, and serving as a resource for employees and managers
Assist the Recruitment Specialist with the background screening for selected applicants and current employees; pre-employment drug screen, and other new hire clearance requirements
Serve as a back-up to other People Operations team members as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of an Associates degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 1 (one) year Human Resources experience required; two (2) years preferred; Experience using HRIS/Payroll systems and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Applications and database management (Oracle, MyAvatar, ICIMS preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; customer service, relationship management, multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently are required
Some knowledge of state and federal employment law, benefits administration, credentialing
Valid Driver's License required; Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Two (2) years preferred; Experience using HRIS/Payroll systems and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Applications and database management (Oracle, MyAvatar, ICIMS preferred)
