New Grad, Entry LevelGlacier Hills Senior Living Community is seeking a Community Life Aide to join their activities department at Fraser Villa. The role involves assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various recreational and social programs for residents, while promoting their engagement and well-being.

Responsibilities
Assist in the creation, planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating of the community life(activity) programs of this Community
Interview residents or family members in a private setting to obtain life history information and to plan meaningful and relevant objectives and goals for the resident. Serve as on-site community representative to involve the resident/family in planning goals whenever possible
Assist residents to improve their daily life by promoting socialization, expanding personnel interests, increasing physical activity and continue lifelong learning
Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior and degree of involvement so that department can evaluate resident progress, by noting, reporting and charting resident behavior
Qualification
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
Chauffeur license desirable and may be required to obtain a class C driver's or Chauffeur's license
Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred
