Additive Manufacturing Engineer

Saratech is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Engineer to operate 3D printers and perform print service operations. The role involves generating quotes, producing quality parts, and providing customer support, including installations and troubleshooting of 3D printing equipment.

Responsibilities

Efficiently operate all 3D printers. Must be willing to drive between Saratech HQ and 3D printing lab regularly
Perform print service operations. Generate quotes, prepare print jobs, and produce quality parts for print service customers
Produce quality benchmark and sample parts for the pre-sales process
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on 3D printing equipment
Open and manage support cases for customers
Perform on-site installations, break fixes, customer training, and configuration of 3D printing equipment
Diagnose and resolve problems related to hardware, software, and workflow on customer sites
Customer support travel may be required to out-of-state locations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering
At least 1 year of Additive Manufacturing experience
CAD experience, preferably NX
US Citizen or Green Card
Must have a reliable mode of transportation
Complies with all organizational policies and procedures
Maintains strict confidentiality of all customers and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected
Adheres to policies regarding notification of absence and PTO requests
Attends all mandatory management and staff meetings
Represents the organization in a respectful and professional manner
Attend and comply with annual health, safety, training, and education requirements
Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean
Subject to background check

Preferred

Knowledge of customer relationship management tools, Salesforce.com a plus
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal
