RCM Financial Services Team Lead

They are seeking a Financial Services Team Lead to oversee daily operations in the RCM Financial Services area, ensuring accurate payment posting and reconciliation while providing support for quality assurance and team development.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily workflows for payment posting, unassigned accounts, credit balance resolution, and reconciliation
Assign and balance workloads to meet departmental productivity, turnaround time (TAT), and accuracy goals
Monitor posting accuracy and lag and escalate trends to management
Develop and maintain SOPs, tip sheets, posting guides, and training materials to support team education and consistency
Support new-hire onboarding and ongoing staff development related to workflows and system use
Lead and promote the integration of standardized payment posting and reconciliation processes across the organization
Enforce workflow processes that support departmental KPIs and partner with leadership to enhance performance metrics
Provide coaching, mentorship, and real-time support to staff to improve quality, productivity, and competency
Ensure cross-coverage and continuity of operations for all financial services functions
Maintain a strong understanding of internal financial services processes and procedures
Work cross-functionally to develop and manage an efficient and effective collection process
Respond to inquiries from leadership, Operations, staff, or physicians in a timely and appropriate manner
Share metric performance with RCM leadership to support continuous process improvement
Coordinate communication to assigned staff regarding productivity standards, quality standards, policies, procedures, and corporate requirements
Identify risks and collaborate with leadership to implement mitigation strategies

Required

1+ years of supervision, team lead, or trainer experience within a financial services-related role such as payment posting or account reconciliation
Strong attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality
High school diploma required
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

Preferred

Experience with Nextech, Allscripts, HST, PayerPath, or similar PM/EHR systems
