Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the interior door fabrication shop
Supervise, train, and mentor shop employees in fabrication techniques and safety procedures
Oversee production of hollow and solid core doors to meet precise project specifications
Set up, operate, and maintain pneumatic tools and shop equipment for accuracy and efficiency
Coordinate inventory, material flow, and shop space utilization
Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery without reliance on overtime
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Collaborate with other departments to align fabrication with project needs and timelines
Qualification
Required
Proven hands-on experience in wood fabrication, especially door assembly
Strong knowledge of pneumatic tools, machinery, and precision fabrication practices
Prior supervisory or management experience in a wood shop or fabrication environment
Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team toward production goals
Excellent organizational, communication, and safety management skills
Commitment to high-quality workmanship and continuous improvement
