Responsibilities
Analyse samples in line with turnaround time requirements
Report results using LIMS
Ensure AQC samples are analysed at correct frequency and recorded on control charts
Analyse gravimetric samples in line with laboratory procedures
Extraction of organotin samples
Order consumables/reagents as required to ensure adequate stocks are maintained
Undertake routine maintenance of equipment as required
Ensure quality records are maintained in line with laboratory requirements
Maintain housekeeping standards
Train junior staff as required
Comply with H&S requirements. Report H&S issues to senior management
Qualification
Required
Science based degree or equivalent
Experience in a face paced laboratory environment
Experience of GC/chromatography analysis in a working environment
Good time management skills, attention to detail and ability to cope under pressure
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, seeking advice where necessary
Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
