Responsibilities

Perform and review technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps
Engineer cybersecurity solutions supporting cyber threat and defensive operations
Automate security monitoring, threat assessments, and reporting
Analyze security posture trends and provide findings to ISSM/ISSO leadership
Recommend and implement security controls aligned with DoD policies and CIA principles
Plan and recommend system modifications based on testing, exercises, and assessments
Mitigate or recommend acceptance of identified risks during certification and testing activities

DoD 8570 IAT/IAM/IASAE Level IIIActive DirectoryEPOSplunkAzure VPN GatewaysAzure MonitorLog AnalyticsCloud-related certificationsLeadership experience

Required

Certification: DoD 8570 IAT/IAM/IASAE Level III compliant
Experience: 5–8 years in relevant cybersecurity or technology roles
Technical Skills (one or more): Active Directory (AD DS, ADFS, AD CS, WSUS)
Technical Skills (one or more): ePO, Splunk, STIG/SCAP, ACAS automation, YUM
Technical Skills (one or more): Azure VPN Gateways, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of leadership experience, or equivalent experience
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret / SCI
Travel: Up to 10%
Onsite work required in Lorton, VA (must be local or willing to relocate)
U.S. citizenship required due to government contract

Preferred

5+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity or a related technical field
Microsoft Azure or other cloud-related certifications
