Responsibilities
Take a lead role in planning the city’s 4th of July celebration, managing everything from vendor communications to day-of festivities
Assist in creating and evaluating diverse activities like summer camps, adult leagues, and nature programming
Drive community engagement through creative promotional initiatives and social media content
Support facility rentals (shelters and buildings), coordinate with athletic associations, and provide work direction to seasonal staff
Attend committee meetings, review municipal budgets, and gain hands-on experience in Senior Center and Art Center administration
Qualification
Required
Ability to assist in event planning and management
Experience or interest in program development for community activities
Skills in marketing and social media engagement
Capability to support facility operations and rentals
Willingness to provide direction to seasonal staff
Desire for professional growth and learning in municipal operations
