Quality Assurance Technician I

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is the largest wine company in the Pacific Northwest, seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I to maintain quality improvement standard operating procedures and material specifications. The role involves inspecting packaged goods, performing stability tests on wines, and maintaining quality assurance records to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Food & Beverages

Responsibilities

Inspect in-process and post-process packaged goods and provide prompt and accurate feedback to the bottling supervisor and line personnel
Perform physical stability tests on finished wines
Maintain accurate/current packaging and bottling-related records
Maintain quality assurance records and workstation records
Record and report analytical results

Analytical laboratory experienceExperience in beverage industryScience discipline knowledgeManufacturing PracticesSelf-directed team environment

Required

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must Possess a Valid Drivers License
High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or two years of college coursework in a science discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, or related science field) preferred
Able to meet flexible schedule requirements. This role maintains a monthly rotational schedule
Experience in the wine, food, or beverage industry
Analytical laboratory experience with a background in the operation of laboratory instrument systems preferred
Ability to work in a self-directed team environment
We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in our production facilities. You will be required to follow all GMP and Safety requirements
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies

Preferred

Associate degree or two years of college coursework in a science discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, or related science field)
Analytical laboratory experience with a background in the operation of laboratory instrument systems
