The Employment Specialist is a Qualified Mental Health Professional who provides employment skills training to individuals with serious mental illness, helping them achieve desired life outcomes through therapeutic interventions and resource facilitation.

Responsibilities

Provide employment skills training to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness

Participate in diagnostic evaluation and complete assessment

Collaborate with diverse individuals to define and facilitate desired life outcomes utilizing a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective

Deliver therapeutic interventions fostering skills necessary to manage symptoms, obtain/maintain employment or housing, or help obtain services such as school, medical care, nutritional assistance, financial assistance, transportation, legal assistance and other resources to fulfill needs

Required
