Telecommunication Technician

XOtech, LLC is seeking a highly qualified MCV Telecommunications Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and deployment of Mobile Command Vehicles for the Department of Homeland Security. The role involves supervising a team, ensuring communications readiness, and maintaining various electronic systems for law enforcement operations.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact and have full authority to act for XOtech LLC on all contract matters related to daily operations
Supervise and remotely manage a team of MCV Telecommunications Technicians across multiple U.S. locations
Oversee and perform routine and emergency maintenance, operation, deployment, and demobilization of MCVs
Operate and maintain a variety of communications and electronic systems, including land mobile radio, satellite, network, video, and teleconferencing equipment
Coordinate with FPS Program Manager, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and other stakeholders to ensure mission readiness and compliance
Prepare and submit required reports, logs, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements
Develop and maintain training manuals and provide training to FPS personnel on MCV operations and equipment
Ensure compliance with all DHS safety, security, and conduct regulations

Required

High School Diploma required
Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B issued by the state of residence
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience
At least six (6) years of experience working with mobile communications systems
Minimum of four (4) years of documented project management experience
Demonstrated ability to install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic, satellite, antenna, computer, weather, video recording, video teleconferencing, data network, and video display systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in computer data entry, software updates, and schematic modification/storage
Ability to respond to emergency deployments and support 24/7/365 operations as required
Must be available during normal duty hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm), with flexibility for mission requirements
Must be able to travel to various MCV locations as needed
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a DHS background investigation
Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
