WVU Medicine is the largest health system in West Virginia and is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join their team at Grant Rapid Care. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive outpatient clinical care and establish preventive health practices in the area of Emergency Medicine.

Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical care to patients in an emergency medicine capacity

Establish preventive health practices for patients

Qualification

PANP degreeNational CertificationBLS CertificationCNOR CertificationEmergency medicine experienceAdvanced Life Support training

Required

Candidate must have a PA or NP degree and be eligible for state medical license

Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master's Degree in Nursing

National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers

Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania

CNOR Certification required

BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department

Bachelor's Degree as Physician Assistant, or Master's Degree as Physician Assistant required

Graduate of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant (PA) training program required

Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants required

Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the PA Board of Medicine

BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at the discretion of the department

Preferred

Emergency medicine/ Urgent care experience preferred

Eligible new graduates will be considered
