Responsibilities
Own overall financial performance, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, month-end close, variance analysis, and executive-level reporting
Serve as a strategic business partner to department heads, translating operational activity into financial insights and action plans
Build financial models supporting seasonal demand, event-driven revenue spikes, and campus-wide initiatives
Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, fixed assets, and cash management
Maintain strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Ensure accurate revenue recognition across lodging, banquets/events, ticketed experiences, food & beverage, retail, and ancillary outlets
Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and banking relationships (as applicable)
Support contract finance, insurance, and claims administration in partnership with legal and risk stakeholders
Ensure financial discipline during peak-volume periods and large public events
Partner with operations to manage labor productivity, food & beverage cost controls, purchasing discipline, and inventory accuracy
Strengthen forecasting and margin performance across restaurants, banquets, and high-volume event weeks
Collaborate with procurement to improve vendor compliance, pricing strategies, and contract terms
Support capital planning, ROI analysis, and financial oversight for campus enhancements and new venue initiatives
Provide financial leadership for large-scale venues, meetings, conventions, and group business growth
Lead, coach, and develop the property finance and accounting team
Establish clear expectations, timelines, and accountability while fostering a service-oriented, operator-friendly finance culture
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience, ideally within large-scale hotel/resort environments
Proven success supporting complex, multi-revenue-stream operations (resort hotels, food & beverage, events, venues, retail)
Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, GAAP fundamentals, and internal controls
Hands-on leader capable of developing teams while engaging closely with operational executives
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Experience with hospitality ERP, POS, and financial reporting systems
