Program Aide - King's Summer Day Camps
CRISTA Ministries is a Christian organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel and serving communities. The King’s Kids Club Summer Day Camp Program Aide is responsible for supervising children, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, and assisting counselors with various camp activities.

Responsibilities
Support the Director in maintaining a quality program that upholds the standards, goals and overall mission of King’s Schools. Oversee the safety of the campers and assist counselors with their campers throughout the camp day
Assist the Camp Director with program activity preparations as needed. Set up, tear down and lead activities throughout the camp day, this includes themed games & water day
Intentionally develop positive relationships with students and their families. Creatively solve problems and resolve concerns with students
Run, set up and tear down AV (videos, PowerPoint, sound) for movies, chapel and other activities. Set up special guests and host them
Lead songs for chapel
Fill in for counselors as needed
Work collaboratively with the director and coworkers
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.)
Prayerfully seeks God's will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA
Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices
Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA's Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC)
Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC)
Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader
Six months of volunteer or job-related experience working with elementary aged children
CPR certification
First aid certification
Able to work with the public in a friendly and courteous manner
Maintain confidentiality and composure in a busy, open setting
Patient, child-centered temperament
Able to communicate clearly
Positive, professional attitude
Keep Licensure/Certification updated and current and provide documentation to the Director
Follow King's Elementary KKC Standards of Dress as outlined by Director
Able to maintain flexibility and change direction quickly in response to a variety of situations
