Remote Workers' Compensation Attorney
Boutique Recruiting is a premier workers' comp defense firm seeking a remote Workers Compensation Attorney. The role involves managing a diverse caseload and requires strong trial capabilities and the ability to build client relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of approximately 60 cases, ensuring no attorney exceeds 80 cases
Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing issues and concerns as they arise
Handle all aspects of cases, including hearings and trials, with a focus on in-person trial readiness
Collaborate with a dedicated Legal Assistant for administrative support, including drafting and scheduling
Maintain accurate records of billable hours, targeting 200 hours per month
Respond to client communications within 24 hours to foster strong relationships
Travel within the area for trials, primarily in Southern California, as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Workers Compensation defense
Proven ability to go to trial in person is essential
Must be barred in California
Preferred
Trial experience is highly preferred, with interest in understanding prior case management
Benefits
401K plan available after 30 days of employment.
