Business Development Associate
CriticalPoint is a firm focused on deal origination, seeking a Business Development Associate to join their team. This role involves fostering relationships with business owners on behalf of private equity clients and gaining exposure to investment operations and deal execution.

Responsibilities
Actively market our clients’ brands and services to a broad range of business owners across a variety of industries
Develop and nurture relationship with key C-Suite executives and decision-making personnel at target companies
Manage relationships with senior deal team professionals and top M&A talent
Source opportunities by addressing prospective targets imminent needs
Coordinate various aspects of due diligence to support client execution initiatives
Obtain SIE, 79 and 63 licenses. These will be paid for and scheduled by the firm
Qualification
Required
Client management background and service orientation
Positive and resilient attitude
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to forge deep personal relationships very quickly
Desire to exceed expectations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Working knowledge of the business world with the opportunity to substantially expand and deepen your understanding of a variety of businesses, business models, and industries
Demonstrated history of professionalism, accountability, resourcefulness, and integrity
Preferred
Cold-calling or sales experience
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable with database management (i.e. - CRM)
Strong preference for local Los Angeles applicants
