Responsibilities
Defines the strategic direction for own area and across other related functions
Creates plans and budgets to ensure the effective delivery of business objectives within timescales and quality standards
Provides guidance and leadership to global team regarding skill group and new and amended international laws and regulations with emphasis on adherence with standard operating procedures and other corporate standards
Monitors external environment and manages issues associated regulatory affairs
Supports delivery of cross-functional business improvement activities
Serves as representative for internal and external skill group related issues and initiatives
Creates, develops and optimises relationships with regulatory agencies, trade associations, and internal groups
Contributes to the development of global policies and programmes to support and develop the business and ensure effective implementation in own area
Qualification
Required
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Science or related discipline
Substantial pharmaceutical experience, including significant regulatory experience
Highly developed leadership, written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience in multiple therapeutic areas
Knowledge of worldwide regulatory rules
