Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain custom FICA solutions in SAP S/4HANA, adhering to Clean Core principles
Implement side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP where applicable
Develop and optimize ABAP code, including OO ABAP, CDS Views, and BAdIs, ensuring performance and maintainability
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Utilize Fiori/UI5 for user-facing applications and enhancements
Ensure compliance with SAP’s upgrade-safe and cloud-compliant development standards
Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and contribute to reusable component libraries
Support integration with other modules (e.g., SD, FI, CRM) and external systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the FICA landscape
Stay current with SAP innovations, especially around RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and S/4HANA Cloud

Qualification

Required

5+ years of SAP development experience, with a focus on FICA in S/4HANA
Strong proficiency in ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, and Fiori/UI5
Experience with SAP BTP
Solid understanding of Clean Core principles and upgrade-safe development
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred

SAP Certification in S/4HANA or SAP BTP
Experience with SAP Service Cloud v2 or other cloud-based SAP solutions
Knowledge of Workflow, and Business Events in FICA
Exposure to REST APIs, OData services, and integration patterns
