Commercial Door & Hardware Installer

The Lemoine Company is a respected full-service construction management firm headquartered in Louisiana. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Door & Hardware Installer responsible for installing and managing commercial doors, door hardware, and related accessories across various construction projects.

Responsibilities

Install commercial door hardware including:
Locks, closers, panic devices, hinges, and specialty hardware
Install hollow metal and wood doors and frames
Install toilet partitions, toilet accessories, and bath accessories
Perform interior finish work including:
Wood trim
Light millwork
Interior architectural finishes as required
Read and interpret blueprints, hardware schedules, and manufacturer specifications
Coordinate work with field supervision, drywall crews, and other trades
Ensure installations meet quality standards, code requirements, and project specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
Follow all LEMOINE safety policies and jobsite procedures
Travel to multiple project locations as required
Potentially lead and coordinate a small installation crew

Required

3+ years of experience installing commercial door hardware
Strong experience with commercial hardware systems
Strong experience with toilet partitions and accessories
Strong experience with interior trim and finish carpentry
Ability to read construction drawings and hardware schedules
Familiarity with commercial construction environments (schools, healthcare, office, industrial, etc.)
Willingness and ability to travel for project work
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and meet project schedules
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb as required by jobsite conditions
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying jobsite environments

Leadership experience or ability to lead a crew
