Associate Project Manager
Pieper Electric, Inc. is a company focused on electrical construction projects, and they are seeking an Associate Project Manager to support all phases of these projects. The role involves hands-on experience in scheduling, estimating, procurement, and customer relations while ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Help establish what is to be done on a week-to-week basis, when, and by whom
Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximize efficiency
Develop appropriate programs, strategies, and supervision
Will learn the scheduling process; take responsibility for it on assigned projects
Be trained to use estimating information to manage labor and material costs effectively
Share manpower, resources, and tools across branches as needed
Assist and work with Project Managers to manage resources, tooling, and permits as needed
Will learn the procurement process and will be responsible for ordering materials on assigned projects
Gain understanding of the collection and billing process; take responsibility for it on assigned projects
Manage billings
Understand and assist in bidding jobs (including estimates, proposal specifications, drawings, and takeoff information)
Manage projects to deliver on customer requirements of scope, timeline, and budget
Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project
Work with Project Managers to learn how develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure high quality service is provided to guarantee sales
Take prompt action to resolve any customer complaints
Always be growing and improving both yourself and your entire team
Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task
Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention
Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents
Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed
Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, etc.), or related
Preferred
Prior experience in contracting, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
Knowledge and experience with the electrical trade
