Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with various teams to drive visibility and accuracy in material cost performance, shaping cost strategy and influencing management decision-making with timely financial information.

Responsibilities

Lead the analysis, reporting, and interpretation of material price variances (MPV)
Develop and maintain robust variance models to identify cost drivers, trends, and risks
Collaborate with Sourcing teams to understand current supplier pricing, cost structures, and market dynamics
Provide clear, actionable insights to Procurement and Finance leadership to support cost‑management initiatives and communicate financial implications of cost changes to senior leadership with clarity and confidence
Support supplier negotiations with financial analysis, scenario modeling, and cost‑benefit assessments to ensure productivity savings are validated and tracked
Enhance financial tools, Power BI Dashboards, and reporting frameworks to improve visibility and decision‑making

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent
4+ years in financial planning, analysis, and/or modeling
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power BI Tools: ability to navigate, modify, and develop models is essential
Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
Experience in Finance and Accounting roles; may include FP&A, Decision Support, and/or P&L accountability for key operations, functions, or business units within a company
Leadership: Takes responsibility for delivering stated outcomes regardless of challenges encountered
Communication: Can build relationships and influence people across all levels in a matrix organization
Executive presence: Comfortable working with and influencing senior leaders
Analytical skills: Ability to assess risks and opportunities within complex business situations
Personal qualities: Action-oriented, resilient, curious, flexible, positive, collaborative

Preferred

Significant experience with SAP and Hyperion is strongly preferred
Experience with raw commodities subject to market inflation a plus
