New Grad, Entry LevelMcCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain and care for various types of flooring. The role involves performing maintenance, cleaning, and restorative processes on hard surfaces and carpets while adhering to safety precautions.

Responsibilities
Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
Operates floor care equipment as assigned
Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions
Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
Must provide a criminal background check
Preferred
Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
