Responsibilities
Manage the processing of loan applications, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Verifying loan applications
Reviewing customer credit reports
Preparing loan files for underwriting approval
Maintaining communication with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers
Qualification
Required
Experience in the Mortgage Industry, with knowledge of Mortgage Lending processes
Proficiency in Loan Processing and a strong understanding of loan documentation requirements
Familiarity with Underwriting processes and regulatory standards
Understanding of loan structures and familiarity with Loans
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with relevant financial and office software
Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience in a credit union or financial institution is a plus
