Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of our tax department
Develop and implement standardized workpapers, workflows and operational procedures
Accounting and tax review
Conduct Tax Return Review appointments with 1040 Clients
Review Tax Business and individual Tax Returns
Preparation of more complex returns
Design and script workflows and conduct review for outsourced accounting services
Act as controller of firms outsourced accounting department
Formulate tax planning strategies for business and individual clients
Perform research and tax memos for transactional and tax planning matters
Develop and mentor members within our tax department
Qualification
Required
6-10 years of experience in public accounting
Experience managing and developing staff
High technical tax and accounting acumen
Extensive experience with Real Estate Professionals and Partnerships
Self-driven & independent
High level knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) functionality
Preferred
CPA preferred (or path to license)
