Responsibilities
Build reliable, scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Design and operate APIs and data flows that power core features of our product
Own the full lifecycle of backend systems, from architecture and code to deployment, monitoring, and observability
Help evolve and maintain our AWS infrastructure using Terraform
Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of our backend systems
Help shape the culture and engineering standards of our growing team
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems
Care deeply about system observability, reliability, and performance
Comfortable managing cloud infrastructure (AWS + Terraform experience strongly preferred)
Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production
Hands-on experience with relational databases (especially Postgres / AWS RDS)
Preferred
Experience operating production systems at scale with strong observability practices
Experience with Prisma and advanced Postgres performance tuning
Comfortable working with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
