Partner-Life Sciences
TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing consulting firm to hire a full-time Partner for its Life Sciences practice. This role involves leading consulting teams, driving project acquisition, and serving as the primary point of contact for client leadership in the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate deep understanding of the U.S. Life Sciences industry and its key market segments
Build and lead high-performing consulting teams to solve large-scale, complex business challenges
Drive project acquisition efforts, including proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and closings
Serve as the primary executive-level point of contact for client leadership
Support client decision makers in addressing complex strategic and operational issues
Identify new project opportunities across target clients, platforms, partners, and enablers
Lead problem-solving and change-management workstreams throughout client engagements
Manage both client-side and internal project team members
Review and approve all major project deliverables prior to client presentations
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of client and industry data
Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and professional development support to consulting staff
Enhance and deliver firm methodologies, tools, and frameworks specific to Life Sciences
Collaborate with other firm offices as needed
Contribute content for press articles and develop presentations and marketing materials for the Life Sciences practice
Represent the firm as a subject matter expert at relevant industry conferences and events
Qualification
Required
Graduate degree (Master's or higher) in Medical Sciences, Biology, Health, Pharmacology, Business, Engineering, Operations Strategy, or related fields from a reputable institution
Hands-on experience in Strategy and Operations Management, ideally within the Life Sciences sector
Strong business acumen and demonstrated consulting expertise
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including roles in both consulting firms and Life Science organizations
Proven track record of success delivering consulting engagements in the Life Sciences industry
At least 3 years of business development experience, including proposal management and client acquisition
Strong goal orientation with a focus on execution and implementation
Must have U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship (e.g., H1-B, F-1 OPT, or other non-immigrant status)
Preferred
Fluency in a second language (German, Spanish, or French) is a plus
Genuine interest in mentoring and developing colleagues
